We have a quick update on DinoTrek - the dates will be pushed back a couple weeks. DinoTrek will now run May 16 - Sept. 20.

The dinos heard about the meteor hitting northeast Ohio a few weeks ago and promptly turned around. We have now convinced them that they are safe here at the Akron Zoo and not yet facing an extinction event. They are, once again, traveling here from prehistoric times.

DinoTrek, back by popular demand, will feature even more dinosaurs this year with 30 dinos, comprised of returning favorites and new species. DinoTrek is presented by Huntington National Bank. Learn more: https://www.akronzoo.org/dinotrek

🎉 Batter up, Little Sluggers! ⚾️

Is your child ready to start their baseball journey? Our Little Sluggers program is ideal for young players, 3 to 5 years old, who are eager to learn the game!

Over the course of four fun-filled, one-hour sessions in July, kids will master the basics like throwing, catching, hitting off the tee, and running the bases—all in a supportive and confidence-building environment.

What makes Little Sluggers truly unique is the mentorship from our older players, who volunteer to coach and inspire the little ones. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to develop skills, build friendships, and fall in love with baseball!
