🎶 Ok music people! Here is your Week 1 challenge! 🎶

Music and movement go hand in hand. There are scientific and psychological reasons your foot starts tapping and your head starts bobbing to the beat when you hear a song. But more than that, research shows that joining music and movement is beneficial and very powerful for all ages for brain function, gross and fine motor skills, behavioral management, and mood elevation (you’re getting ALL that oxygen, too, to your cellular body, if you huff and puff like me 🙋🏻‍♀️😂)

Debbie Allen, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.biography.com/.amp/actor/debbie-allen, a world famous actor/choreographer, is offering a free live dance class today on Instagram at 4 pm! I don’t want to know what a class with Ms Allen would cost normally 😳 so this is a very cool opportunity! I’ll post the details below, but here’s what I’d like you to do: tune in, participate, and HAVE fun! Send me a photo or video of you dancing with Debbie or of what you learn. **If you can’t participate at 4, show me your dance moves to your favorite song!!

Spending a few days at MusikGarten headquarters for training and certification. It’s so exciting to learn what’s new in the field of childhood development and music! Can’t wait for Fall classes!
