Today our older twos class had a special visitor come teach us about fire safety and what they wear at work! A firefighter came in and showed us all the gear he wears to keep people safe. Ms. Frankie even tried on the gear to help show the children that firefighters may look different in their equipment, but they are there to help us and keep us safe!

The children got to touch and explore the gear, practice crawling low to the ground if they ever see smoke, and learn all about how firefighters are community helpers. We had so much fun learning and practicing important safety skills today! 🚒🔥
