Navigating senior year can be overwhelming, but our students don't have to do it alone. Xello serves as our all-in-one hub to help seniors prepare for whatever path they choose after graduation:

College-Bound: Complete university research, sync Common App accounts, request transcripts, track recommendation letters, and access FAFSA / scholarship guidance.

Career & Military: Explore military branches, search local job boards and apprenticeships, build a professional resume, and connect with local industry representatives.

For help accessing Xello, please reach out to [email protected].

Our band students enjoyed a private mini-concert and Q&A session last week with the Northern Colorado Winds Saxophone Sextet. It was an inspiring look at how a passion for music can extend far beyond high school.

The timing couldn't have been better, with our school band concert right around the corner, our students left feeling energized and motivated.

A huge thank you to Mr. Grotzky for organizing such an enriching opportunity!

Please join us for our band concert tomorrow night (Wed 10/7) at 6:30 PM. It promises to be a wonderful performance, and we would love to see you there!

Huge congratulations to Tim Nichols, our October Staffulty of the Month. Tim is the true definition of a servant-leader at Severance High School! He is the voice of SILVER Knights football, the founder of our new Knowledge Bowl team, a tireless class sponsor, and above all an AMAZING Social Studies teacher. He continuously shows up for his students, colleagues, and community in everything he does. Thank you, Mr. Nichols, for bringing your positive energy, excellence, dedication, and genuine character to SHS every single day! We are better because of you!

Happy Custodians Day to the Keepers of Our Castle!

Our custodial crew takes real pride in their work and it shows in every gleaming floor, tidy classroom, and welcoming hallway. They care for our school like it's their own, and their hard work behind the scenes keeps every Knight's day running smoothly.

Today we're saying it loud: THANK YOU! Our castle wouldn't shine without you.

Collin Shyrock – Lead Custodian. A decade in facility maintenance & event setup. Favorite part of the job: the staff and students at SHS. Loves yard work, documentaries & family time.

Teresa White – 6 years at SHS. Works with community service students, teaching discipline & life skills. Loves movies & her grandkids.

Yvette Magdaleno – Upper/Lower D Pod. 30+ years of custodial expertise! Loves staying active & busy, furry animals, old movies & a good book.

Tyler Coughlin – Day Custodian. 7 years in maintenance & operations, including Blue Arena & Weld RE-4. Loves that the job keeps him moving. Off the clock: video games, movies & time with family.

Gloria – 4 years at SHS. Loves spending time with family and is always ready to share a good joke and a laugh with the team.

Trina Simon & Kristin – Our newest team members! Thank you for joining the crew and helping keep SHS shining.

Thank you for all you do — our castle wouldn't shine without you!
