Severance FFA members were hard at work all summer long demonstrating excellence and passion in their Supervised Agricultural Experience projects! Thank you to those that submitted photos and their results, join us in celebrating their incredible accomplishments:

Tanner Brasil represented us well at the Weld County Fair, securing 2nd in class and taking home Reserve Champion Duroc with his market swine project!

Gentry Jones proudly represented in the arena at the Weld County Fair, exhibiting her Dairy Heifer project after months of dedicated preparation and care.

Whitlee Gerrits who is new to our program took home the junior girls championship in breakaway. Good job Whitlee!

Austin Goetzel worked on his familys farm all summer and his picture showcases leveling one of his fields for planting.

Tyson Brasil also a new Severance FFA member had an outstanding Fair! He competed with his Dairy Replacement Heifer and Market Swine projects, taking home 1st Place in Dairy Junior Showmanship!

Penny Bowen, another new Severance FFA member, and her horse, Hollywood, took Grand Champion in Intermediate Level 2 Western & Gymkhana, and Reserve Champion in Intermediate Level 1 English & Ranch at the Larimer County Fair. She also took Grand Champion in both Intermediate Rally and Agility with her dog Anne Bonny.

Bergen Krueger also had an incredible fair! She took home top honors including, Grand Champion Large Poultry, Grand Champion Large Fowl Reserve and Grand Champion Senior Showmanship.

Sophia Erhart and her horse, Arlo, had an awesome 2026 horse fair!
All Around Intermediate Western Horseman - Level 1, All Around Intermediate English Horseman - Level 1, All Around Intermediate Gymkhana Horseman - Level 1
All Around Junior Ranch Horseman - Level 1, and the 2026 Super Team Award!

Faith Johnson earned 4th Overall with her Charolais Heifer and took 2nd Place in Class with her Market Steer at the Weld County Fair! Outstanding job, Faith!

Tesla Person also competed with her horse at the Larimer County Fair and is new to Severance FFA and we are so excited to have her.

Ella Foy represented Severance and showed her market lamb under FFA at the Weld County Fair and we are so so proud of her!

A huge congratulations to all these FFA Members!

You can volunteer at Treasure Island Demonstration Garden on Tuesdays, and we will learn at the Windsor Community Recreation Center on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Curious to learn more?
