Welcome to Eva’s Sparkling Stars Daycare. I want to introduce myself to you. My name is Eva Connot. I am originally from Sweden and have lived in the United States since 2016. I live in Sergeant Bluff with my husband and 18-month-old son Aiden. My career journey has included spending time as a certified pharmacy technician and most recently I am a front desk supervisor/manager at a local high-end hotel. My desire to open my own daycare for children is due to my experience sending my child to daycare and it being so different from how daycare is in my home country of Sweden.

I will provide a daycare experience that includes what I want for my own child which includes: a loving, caring, and safe environment for all children. Your child should feel secure and able to open up to explore and learn from their experience at daycare. I believe that providing a structured environment for your child through patience, consistency and positive reinforcement will assist a child in learning and growing successfully.

The wellbeing of your child is taken very seriously, and I will work hard to provide an environment that is as healthy as possible. I am committed to keeping our home and children as clean as possible, in order to minimize and/or prevent the spread of germs. Our home is kept disinfected at all times. We thoroughly clean surfaces that children come into close contact with using soap/water or Lysol. We also run air purifiers in our home. We are a pet-friendly home and do have Shaylee our older mixed-breed dog. She is kid friendly but will not spend regular time with the kids.

Finally the wall stickers came 😁 now I can finally spice it up at daycare. It's coming along and will hopefully soon have some kids here. Aiden is really looking forward to some new friends.
