That's a wrap on the 38th Annual Northwest Iowa Regional Fire School!
A huge thank you to all of our great instructors, sponsors, staff, and the Sergeant Bluff community for making this year such a success!
This weekend we were joined by 382 attendees, representing 4 states and 110 departments - surpassing our expectations and showing tremendous growth from prior years.
Numbers are great, but the greatest thing we observed was a growing desire and passion for excellence in EVERY department we saw come through those doors this weekend. THAT is what gives us confidence to say that that when those tones drop, your safety is in best hands possible.
Before classes even dismissed today, our planning committee was already beginning serious discussions about plans and improvements we will make for 2027.
The best way we can improve is by listening to those involved. If you attended this year's fire school, you will receive an evaluation email this week which we highly encourage you to fill out so we can serve you in the best way possible, not just as a course, but as an entire fire school.
