ASB Domino’s Takeover!

Dinner plans? We’ve got you covered! Join us Tuesday, October 13, from 4:00–7:00pm for a Domino’s Pizza Takeover supporting our Junior Class ASB!

The Junior Class is raising money for their graduation and Senior Ball, and you can help by enjoying some delicious pizza! It’s an easy way to support our students while making dinner a little simpler.

The energy is HIGH, the stands are packed, the crowd is loud, and everyone is having a blast! There’s nothing quite like a Homecoming night filled with school spirit, friends, football, and plenty of memories being made.

Recently, Mr. Reno welcomed Bonnie Boenish from the League of Women Voters to speak with his class. As part of our Constitution Day learning, students have been studying the Constitution and writing about their favorite amendment.
Bonnie shared the history of the 19th Amendment and helped students understand its importance in expanding voting rights. She also brought history to life by sharing stories about her grandmother, who served as a nurse during World War I. Her presentation provided meaningful connections between our studies and real-life experiences, and our students greatly benefited from her knowledge and enthusiasm.

Today is National School Custodian Appreciation Day, and we are celebrating the people who do so much behind the scenes to keep our schools running smoothly.

From early mornings to late afternoons, our custodians care for the spaces where students learn, staff work, and our school communities come together. Thank you for the care you put into your work every day and for helping make our schools places where everyone feels welcome. We appreciate you!

This month, we recognize the history, experiences, contributions, and voices of people with disabilities. In our schools and our community, we are committed to creating spaces where every student feels seen, valued, included, and able to participate fully.

Disability awareness is about more than one month. It is about learning, listening, removing barriers, and making sure every person has the opportunity to belong.

We need your help, we are so close to our goal! Join us in reaching our goal of 1,000 Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) Applications!

Even though school meals are at no cost for families, completing the CNEEB Application is one of the most important ways you can support our students and schools.

Completing the application may help provide:
✅ College Bound Scholarship eligibility
✅ Reduced fees for sports, ASB, Running Start, and more
✅ Fee waivers for college applications and admissions tests (SAT/ACT)
✅ Additional state and federal funding that supports teachers, staff, and student programs
✅ SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) benefits
