Our 9th graders attended West Fest 2026 at Western Technology Center in Burns Flat. Mrs. Carlson drove the bus and Mrs. Burrows accompanied the group.
9th graders explored WTC programs through hands-on activities, facility tours and conversations with WTC instructors and current students. West Fest gives ninth graders an opportunity to discover career pathways and learn about the training programs available to them as future WTC students.

SPS & the Beta Club will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week to remind students to choose to be healthy, happy, and kind! These are the upcoming dress up days for Oct. 26-30!

Our paraprofessionals play an invaluable role in the success of our students and classrooms. They take the time to build trusting relationships with students, learning their individual strengths, triggers, needs, and learning styles.

Their patience, consistency, and compassion help create an environment where students feel supported, understood, and valued. By providing encouragement and reassurance, our paraprofessionals help students feel safe and confident enough to take risks, make mistakes, learn from them, and continue growing.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and heart our paraprofessionals bring to school each day. They truly are an essential part of the Energy Bus Team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

These outstanding 8th graders are in Guthrie today attending the Take AIM Conference! Take AIM (Active and Involved Members) is a one-day conference jam-packed with leadership, laughter, and learning about the greatest organization: FCCLA. This conference is for new members to learn what the Ultimate Leadership Experience is all about. They are experiencing team building exercises, leadership lessons, and making new friends from across the state! Way to go, girls, for getting out of your comfort zones!

This Friday, 10/9, we would love to have all students and staff wear Bulldog gear. This is for an activity through our yearbook company. The winning school gets $500 towards their yearbook!
