☕️ Learning Beyond the Textbook at OCA!

Our Personal Finance class had a special student-led lesson today! One of our students shared about working in a local coffee shop and walked the class through the different procedures, skills, and steps involved in creating specialty coffee drinks.

The students were completely engaged—and what a great opportunity to connect real-world work experience with entrepreneurship! From customer service and following procedures to product knowledge, efficiency, and running a business, there is so much to learn from the workplace.

We love watching our students discover their talents, share their knowledge, and begin thinking about their own future careers and businesses.

Our students made memories, built friendships, and enjoyed some great time together at Athens Y-Camp!

From praise and worship, games, team activities, time on the lake, singing, sharing, or simply enjoying being together—this retreat was a wonderful way to kick off the new school year. We’re thankful for the opportunity to step away, connect, and grow together.

What a great group of students! 💜

Our OCA upperclassmen enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Athens Y Camp.🏕️🌲

Boost Camp is a special time for our students to step away from the classroom, enjoy God’s beautiful creation, strengthen friendships, and most importantly, grow closer to the Lord. 🙏

From worship and fellowship to plenty of food, laughter, and outdoor fun, we are grateful for opportunities like these that help build relationships and memories that will last long after graduation.
