This week started diving into solfège and some Veterans Day music. It’s always amazing to see the growth over the last few years and those who get to see the fruits of their hard work pay off!

It’s the beginning of the school year! With a new year, we wanted to share our new approach to sharing information in a streamlined and consistent fashion district wide.

- With the new roll-out of ParentSquare, this choir page will be used for sharing the successes of our students and program.

- All reminders and calendar information will be shared through ParentSquare, and you can contact Mr Tanksley directly there

- All other information (such as policies, fundraising, etc) will be found through the “Pages” table of your student in Canvad.

We are excited to see what the new year brings to our program! Welcome back everyone!

JH and HS Concert Choir will have their first competition this Friday @ 10:30 at NEO Music Festival. At the bottom of the post is the itinerary of events.

Students will need to be in concert black with signed permission slip (given out tomorrow) in order to attend.

The festival is open to the public and is taking place at the NEO Performing arts building.

Choir students will need to either bring their lunch or bring approx. $15 for lunch at the Lucky Buffet.

After, we will go to Chapters, a bookstore and Starbucks coffee shop. Students do not need money to look through the store, but may want some spending money for this.

Finally, we will attend a Coleman Theater tour at 1:00 pm, and will return to the school no later than 3:00 pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mr. Tanksley at [email protected] or by calling the school.
