The Seneca Falls Central School District is proud to introduce the Mynderse Academy Distinguished Alum Recognition.
The Mynderse Academy Distinguished Alum recognition was formed in 2026 to annually recognize an alum of Mynderse Academy through outstanding accomplishments, positive contributions to their community, active civic engagement, and significant achievements in their field. The alum or their designee will engage with current Mynderse students and speak at the Mynderse Graduation ceremony.
The Mynderse Academy Distinguished Alum Program serves to honor an alum annually at the Mynderse Academy graduation and to inspire current and future Mynderse Academy students.
Nomination forms will be accepted on a rolling basis. For a candidate to be considered for the current school year, the completed application must be submitted by November 1. Completed packets received after November 1 will be considered for a future school year.
To be eligible, the nominee must have graduated from Mynderse at least 10 years ago. The committee will consider the following criteria:
Made significant positive contributions to their community
Sustained that community influence over time
Demonstrated evidence of community service and civic engagement
Significant achievement in their field
Received awards, commendations, and recognition
