Our Laker Dual Language teachers prepared a wonderful lunch of traditional foods from Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, and Mexico. We enjoyed time on this workday sharing a meal and fellowship. We are so thankful for them and the sacrifices they make to come so far from home and teach in our community.

🎉🇲🇽🌎 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Woodland Elementary! 🌎🇵🇷🎉

Our Lakers proudly celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a special parade highlighting the cultures, traditions, and heritage represented in our dual language program! ❤️💛💚

We were especially excited to have our 5th Grade Student Ambassador Public Relations Team narrate the parade, sharing their voices and leadership as we celebrated the richness and diversity of our school community. 🎤👏

At Woodland, we celebrate the languages, cultures, and experiences that make our school family unique. We are proud to nurture a community where every student feels valued, included, and celebrated!

Small School, Big Heart! 💙🩵

Our Lakers have been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month for several weeks. We have been enriched by learning more about the countries represented by our staff (and some of our students). We enjoyed a school spirit day today to show our apprecition for our Hispanic students and teachers. ⛵️
