Happy National Coaches Day to two of the best! We are so lucky to have Mrs. Malcom, our ARI Reading Coach, and Mrs. Bickerstaff, our OMI Math Coach, pouring into our teachers and students every single day.

They bring so much energy, school spirit, positivity, and joy to Semmes Elementary. They push us to grow, challenge our teachers and kiddos to be their best, and somehow always manage to bring a smile to everyone’s face along the way.

We are so thankful for the impact you both make on our school. You are truly a big part of what makes our Eagles soar!

💙❤️ It takes a TEAM to make a day this SEMMESATIONAL! ❤️💙

Today was truly one for the books, and we could not have pulled off our Most Semmesational Day without the incredible staff at Semmes Elementary!

Our cafeteria crew went above and beyond creating our special “Park Lunches” and helping make lunchtime feel like part of the adventure!

Our teachers transformed their classrooms—and sometimes themselves!—into magical, exciting spaces that made our students’ day unforgettable. From decorations to costumes to creative learning activities, they made the magic happen in every corner of our school.

Our support staff jumped in wherever they were needed and added so many extra touches of fun and magic throughout the day. They truly helped bring all of our big ideas to life!

From the surprises and special treats to the music, transformations, activities, and smiles, every single person played a part in making today so special.

We are SO thankful for a staff who is willing to say, “Let’s do it!” and then make it happen. Our students may not know all the behind-the-scenes work that went into today, but we do—and we are incredibly grateful. 🥹❤️💙

Thank you, Semmes staff, for making our Most Semmesational Day one our students will remember for a long time!

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 🧹✨

Today, we proudly celebrate and thank Ms. Cindy, Ms. Verbie, Ms. Katie, and Ms. Teresa for everything they do for Semmes Elementary! Their hard work, dedication, and care help keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning each day. From the early mornings to the end of the day, they work behind the scenes to make a difference for our students, staff, and families.

Thank you for your tireless efforts, your positive attitudes, and the pride you take in our school. We are grateful for all you do and appreciate you more than words can say!

🍎🌳 Johnny Appleseed Day was a-peel-ing! 🌳🍎

Our students celebrated with lots of apple science, hands-on exploring, and, of course… a little taste testing! 🧪🍏 From making observations to discovering what makes apples so unique, our little scientists had a bushel of fun learning together!
