🧪🧹 Bio II Gets to Work!

Mr. Staggs’ Bio II students rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning and organizing the science lab! 🔬

Taking care of the space where learning happens is an important part of creating a safe, organized, and successful lab environment. We appreciate these students putting in the work to get the lab ready for all the learning and experiments ahead!

❤️ Learning Homeostasis in Action! 🫀🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Today, Mrs. Atyia’s Anatomy class took their learning beyond the textbook as they explored homeostasis and how the body responds to exercise!

Students measured their heart rates at rest, took a jog down the hallway, and then measured their heart rates again to see firsthand how their bodies reacted to physical activity.

Hands-on learning is a great way to bring science to life! 🧪💚
