Easy scholarship opportunity!

If your student read The Outsiders this past school year, encourage them to enter this creative contest for a chance to win scholarship prizes.

Many of our GEAR UP schools read the novel last year, and we were proud to sponsor a visit to the Outsiders House Museum this spring. Entries are due December 1, 2026.

The winning One Pager Entries for the Spring 2026 Contest are now displayed in the museum. Gearing up for the Fall 2026 Contest! We have already received over 100 entries! Can’t wait to see the creativity this year!

Need a summer gig that's not boring? You'll be touring colleges, hanging with students, and staying active with camp fun as a GEAR UP Summer Residence Hall / Activity Monitor. Camp dates are July 5-8 and July 12-15.
