We were so lucky to welcome Mary from Pinellas County Government Emergency Management, who met with our book club students to talk about hurricanes, emergency preparedness, and how we can all be ready when a storm comes our way. What a wonderful way to connect the pages of our book to the real world!
Our School Community Book Club students and families have been enjoying "Disaster Squad: Hurricane Rescue"—an exciting adventure story that brings hurricane response and preparedness to life!
Our next Book Club pick will take us on an animal adventure and begins in November! Our School Community Book Club is open to all our families, so be on the lookout for information about how to join us for our next read.

Read together. Learn together. Adventure together!
