♟️ The SMS Chess Club Continues to Grow! ♟️

Our Seminole Middle School Chess Club is making BIG moves! 🦅 We had 48 scholars playing during first lunch and another 33 during second lunch — that’s 81 scholars enjoying chess in one day! 🤯👏

It’s amazing to see our scholars developing critical thinking, strategic planning, problem-solving skills, and sportsmanship while having fun with their peers.

♟️ Want to be part of the action? We’re looking for more volunteers to help support our growing Chess Club every Friday! If you enjoy chess and want to make a difference in the lives of our scholars, we’d love to have you join us. ❤️💛

Our chess community is growing, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Hawks! 🦅♟️

🎥 CREW IN ACTION! 🎬

Our SMS Targeted Learning Video Crew got some hands-on training from our very own Mr. Clark, Manager of PCSB Multimedia! 📹👏

From learning new techniques to building real-world skills, our scholars are gaining valuable experience behind the camera and discovering what it takes to bring stories to life through video production. 🎬💻

A huge thank you to Mr. Clark for sharing his expertise and helping our Hawks spread their wings in multimedia!
