Saturday August 22! Crusade Pro is back! Live from the Seminary School Multi-Purpose Building they’re bringing Blackout! A fundraiser for the SHS Cheerleaders! There are 5 awesome matches lined up for this event with the Main Event being a 3 Way LADDER MATCH between Emily Locke, Kimber Fox, and Seminary’s own Jodie to crown the first ever Crusade Pro Women’s Champion! The SHS Cheerleaders will be providing concessions! Our cheerleaders are always there to support us, so show up and show out to support them!! SHS STUDENTS can purchase tickets until Aug. 21 from Mrs. Phillips (Warren) on the A-Hall for a discounted rate of $5! Yearbooks from last year were handed out to Grades K-6 today. Grades 7-12 will be handed out tomorrow. Class of 2026 graduates may pick their yearbooks up in the library any day from 8:00 - 3:00. Please do not come before or after those times, as Mrs. Gibson will not be in the library.

Extra copies will not be sold until Wednesday of this week, when all pre-orders have been handed out. Extra copies will be sold on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to those individuals that were placed on the waiting list last year. They will be cash only - $75. Students in grades 7-12 should report to the SHS library to sign in and receive student schedules and then proceed to the classrooms to meet teachers!

Don’t forget about Open House tomorrow from 1:00-3:00! Schedules will be available in the library. Please report to the SHS library upon arrival, and then go meet your teachers. Please note that schedule changes will not be discussed at Open House. Students will be given schedule change request forms Friday, and those will be taken into consideration and honored if possible. If students are unable to attend, schedules will be handed out Friday morning!

Beginning of School Information

Morning Procedures

🚗 Car Riders and Student Drivers
Arrival: 7:20
Please do not drop your students off prior to 7:20, as no teachers will be on duty until this time.

All car riders should be dropped off out front in the car line and enter campus through the cafeteria, where they will go through the metal detectors. They may then grab breakfast and go to their 1st period class.

Student Drivers should enter campus via Cherry Avenue and park in the student parking lot. More info about student parking permits will be sent home soon. Student drivers should be licensed and insured in order to park on campus.

After arriving on campus, student drivers should immediately exit their vehicle, go through the metal detectors, and report to breakfast or their 1st period class.

On the first day if students do not have their schedule or know where to go, there will be teachers on duty to help direct them.

All students must be in their 1st period class by 7:50, or they will be counted tardy. (We realize traffic may be an issue for the first few days and will be taken into consideration if necessary.)

Afternoon Procedures

Departure: ALL students will dismiss at the 3:04 bell. Car riders must be picked up in the car line out front. Please do not arrive earlier than 3:04, as it will congest the elementary car line, and you will be asked to drive around and join the rear of the line.
