Yesterday in Mrs. Amy's 7th grade science class, students made oobleck. Oobleck is a unique substance made from cornstarch and water that acts like both a solid and a liquid. Students took information about states of matter and created something fun!

Congratulations to the 2026 McNairy County Junior High Football Champions! Our Selmer Lions!!

The Lions defeated the Ramer Eagles at Don Whitaker Memorial Stadium 24-8 tonight. Our Lions had a strong season thanks to Coach Quan, Coach Lee, and Coach Joey working with the team tirelessly. It was those Lions on the field, though, who showed that with grit, determination, practice, and strong support from coaches, parents, and school staff, victory is possible. They proved it tonight! Way to go, Lions!! Revel in this win. You deserve it!
