Ms. Katie’s 5th graders put the Engineering Design Process into action! Working in teams, students were challenged to design the tallest structure possible while navigating real engineering limits with criteria and constraints.
Students practiced the STEM process by asking, planning, building, testing, and reflecting.

Winning tower, tallest and strongest, belonged to Rose Mary, Rosalee, and Serenity.
