McNairy County 4-H Chick Chain Show & Sale!

It’s almost time! Join us for our 2026 Chick Chain Show & Sale on Saturday, September 12th at Stockdale’s in Selmer! 🎉

Come out and support our 4-H’ers as they showcase the chickens they have raised and worked with throughout the Chick Chain project. Following the show, the chickens will be available for sale! 🐥

Had a great day yesterday talking about our bahiagrass nitrogen trials at our plot in Decatur County as part of the Master Forage Program!

Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and came out to learn more about different forage management strategies and how bahiagrass can be incorporated into your forage system. We appreciate your time, questions, and interest in improving forage production!

Livestock Judging season is here! We’re kicking off our first practice on September 17 from 5:00–6:00 PM at the UT Extension Office.

All McNairy County 4-H’ers in grades 4th–12th are invited to join us! Whether you’re new to livestock judging or have competed before, come learn, practice, and sharpen your skills for the upcoming season.
