📚 Meet the Teacher – Tuesday, August 11 | 4:00–6:00 PM
We look forward to seeing our families at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday evening. This is a great opportunity for students to meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and get ready for a great school year!
🍧 Snow Cones
Our cheerleaders will be serving snow cones in the cafeteria during Meet the Teacher. Be sure to stop by and enjoy a sweet treat!
👕 PTL T-Shirt Sale
PTL will have t-shirts available for ½ price on Tuesday. This is a great opportunity to stock up on Morgan Academy spirit wear at a fantastic price!
📚 First Day of School – Wednesday, August 12
Early Dismissal: School will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at that time.
🚗 Carpool Procedures
On the first day of school, parents will not be allowed to walk their students into the school building. Please use the designated carpool lines for drop-off. Our teachers and staff will be outside and ready to assist students as they enter the building.
We know the first day can be an exciting (and sometimes emotional!) morning, but keeping our carpool lines moving will help everyone get settled and allow us to start the school year safely and efficiently.
📸 Back-to-School Pictures
Parents are welcome to take all of those special first-day pictures on Tuesday night during Meet the Teacher! We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get those pictures before the first morning of school so that Wednesday morning can run as smoothly as possible.
🎓 Senior Parade – 8:00 a.m. Wednesday
Our seniors will be making their traditional entrance into school at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Because of the senior parade, the carpool line must be completely clear of all cars at 8:00 a.m. Please plan accordingly and make sure you have completed drop-off before the parade begins.
❌ No Aftercare Wednesday
Please remember that there will be NO aftercare on Wednesday, August 12. Since we have an early dismissal, all students must be picked up at 11:30 a.m. Aftercare will begin on Monday, August 17 for grades 1st - 6th
🍎 Lunch Accounts
Please remember to add money to your student’s lunch account by Wednesday, August 12 so your child is ready for lunch on the first full day of school.
