Today’s stats: most woke up around 2 am this morning to get to the airport for a 7:50 am flight. Headed to bed at 10:15 pm: a 20 hour day.

We walked 9.18 miles

We climbed 17 flights of stairs

Burned 509 calories

We went to my favorite deli (if you know, you know) on Times Square, Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Central Park/Zoo, the Apple Store, walked 5th Ave, Roosevelt Island tram, RiseNYC museum, and the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art). We ate New York pizza for dinner.

Last day! A trip to see the ocean at Coney Island, a hot dog eating contest, frog legs and hot dogs at Nathan’s, candy shopping, Rockettes Christmas Spectacular show, then coming home. Overall, we walked 36.76 miles. I think it’s safe to say everyone is tired, but we had a great trip. I cannot say enough about this group. They were fantastic and made the trip a lot of fun. I appreciate the parents that went, as well. And the number one thing said on the trip…

Day 3: we started the day with the Today Show, walking around Rockefeller Plaza/Center, the Lego Store, Washington Square Park, Chelsea Market, Friends Apartment, a tour of Madison Square Garden, Macys, Greenwich Village, Ellen’s Stardust Diner, and ended the day seeing Wicked.

Day 2: Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Charging Bull, 9/11 Museum, One World Trade Center, Oculus, Hamilton’s grave at Trinity Church, Hudson Eats, Little Italy, China Town, Littlw Island, Juniors Cheesecake, Times Square. Also saw a building on fire, Scott face planted at Wall Street, lost a parent on the subway. Ended the day well, though. Lots of laughing and making memories. We have a great group!
