❤️🦁 Advisory Share Circle in Kindergarten! 🦁❤️

Mrs. Monk’s Kindergarten class participated in a Share Circle during Advisory Period! Students had an opportunity to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences while practicing how to listen respectfully when their classmates were speaking.

Activities like Share Circle help our youngest Lions build confidence, communication skills, empathy, and a sense of belonging in their classroom community.

At Meadowview, we are building strong relationships and helping our students learn how to care for themselves and one another! ❤️🦁

🦁❤️ Morning Stretchers During Advisory! ❤️🦁

Mrs. Brown’s 2nd-grade class started their Advisory Period with morning stretches to get their bodies moving and their minds ready for a great day of learning!

Taking a few moments to stretch helps students wake up, refocus, relax, and prepare for the day ahead. What a wonderful way to promote wellness and a positive start to the morning!

Healthy Bodies + Focused Minds = Ready to ROAR! 🦁❤️

Mrs. Tarver’s 4th-grade class used today’s Advisory Period to reflect on their week with a “How Was Your Week?” activity. Students rated their week on a scale from 1–5 and then explained the reason behind their rating.

This activity encouraged students to identify their feelings, reflect on their experiences, and practice expressing themselves. It was also a great opportunity for classmates to listen to and learn more about one another. ❤️🦁

🖥️ STEM Learning in Kindergarten and 1st grade🦁

Our kindergarten and 1st grade students are becoming little technology experts! During STEM, they are learning about the different parts of a computer, and we started with the computer mouse. 🖱️

Students learned what a mouse is used for and practiced important skills such as pointing, clicking, and navigating. These hands-on experiences are helping our youngest Lions build early technology skills while having fun learning!
