Susquehanna University Music Preparatory Program

The Susquehanna University Music Preparatory Program offers individual lessons and children's music!

Program Overview:

Children's Classes: Infant through age 5 at Susquehanna University
10-week sessions fall and winter/spring and 8-week summer session

Private Lessons: Pre-School to Adult
Voice, Piano, Organ, and all band and orchestra instruments
12-week sessions (Fall and Winter/Spring semesters)
10-week session (Summer only)

Teaching Staff:
All group cla

sses are taught by teachers certified in music, and/or early childhood. Private lessons are taught by university students who study music and who have been recommended by their private studio teachers. Through this program, Susquehanna students acquire valuable skills by assisting in the classroom, observing master teachers and learning how to teach children with various learning styles and needs. This rich collaboration between music faculty, university students, and the children and adults who join the program is what differentiates Susquehanna’s Music Preparatory Program from other programs in the region.
