Congrats to Dr. Gail Levinsky on her selection as a FINALIST in the 2026 American Prize in Instrumental Performance (professional) division of The American Prize national non-profit competitions in the performing arts.

Dr. Levinsky submitted her 2024 album "Quiet Hearts: Music for Saxophone" which represents the artistry of incredible woman.

Last week our students had the privilege of working with pianist, teacher, and scholar William Chapman Nyaho. Dr. Nyaho specializes in works by composers of African descent and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to learn from him!

This week the SU percussion ensemble performed the world🌍 premiere of “EMBERS (On Shared Ground)”. EMBERS was composed by Chad Heiny for the SU percussion ensemble in honor of the Susquehannock tribe tribute circle located on campus.
