Our students in Preschool B are celebrating Carnival Week! Here are just a few activities they've done so far! They played in a popcorn sensory bin, made popcorn art, and created “clown art” using fun paint rollers, dot paint, and, of course, lots of glitter!

Our Preschool A friends had the chance to explore our newly updated nature playground! A local Eagle Scout, Lucas, generously chose our nature playground as his Eagle Scout Project. Over the summer, he and his friends worked hard on creating this amazing landscape for us! He and his friends built a tunnel, a teepee, benches, chairs, tables, and even a caterpillar balance beam! And we cannot forget about the enormous music wall they created! The students were VERY excited to explore their new outdoor area. When asked about their new outdoor play area, Ryleigh said, "It's so good." It's great and soo beautiful," said Hope, as she climbed the teepee looking over the entire play area. Jack and Harrison both said, "It's super good and super fun," as they used the digging tools in the tunnel. Chloe said, "I love it!" The teachers and students cannot thank Lucas and his friends enough for volunteering to take on this huge project. Thank you!!

Toddler 1 and Toddler 2 had an absolute blast on their water day! They jumped and splashed in the big splashpad. They explored the water table by filling cups and bowls with water, pouring it onto the table, and watching it flow to the bottom. Water days are so much fun!

This week, our Preschool B friends are learning about different artists and the unique styles of art they created. We are exploring the colorful work of Andy Warhol, known for his bright colors, repeated images, and pop art. The students also experimented with mixing colors to make them lighter or darker.

Preschool A went down to the garden to see what changes could happen in a week, and boy, there were a lot of changes! Our tomatoes are still green; however, we have a lot more peppers and cucumbers! The sunflowers that Toddler 2 planted are almost as tall as the preschoolers! While visiting the garden, we went on a scavenger hunt to find a list of items you would find in your backyard. We searched high and low, and we managed to find them all, from yellow and purple flowers to pinecones and rocks!
