MEET THE PTSO

Hi! My name is Erin Eberle and I am the President for our PTSO this year. This is my second year as President and third on the PTSO board. I have a 4th grader, 3rd grader and a 1st grader, who have all loved their experiences at the Elementary School. I grew up in New England and moved down to PA in 2009 and outside of parenting, I enjoy traveling, hiking, painting and photography. I’m so grateful for this community and cannot wait to see what this year brings!

👋MEET THE PTSO:
Hi, my name is Katie Shingara, I am one of the PTSO coordinators for the 26’-27’ school year. This is my second year serving in this role. I have a son, Klane, who is in 2nd grade this year. Outside of being a travel nurse, we spend our free time consumed with Klane playing football, basketball, and baseball. Volunteering in the school and spending time with your kiddos is one of the things that fills my cup! I can’t wait to see what the year brings.

Okay, the moment you have all been waiting for is finally here!!!…. Yes, the first day of school! But ALSO -
Thanks to all of your hard work and generous donations for the past few years, the PTSO was able to order a brand new, super stellar piece of playground equipment! We have been waiting to make this announcement once the pieces all fell into place and thanks to the kindness and generosity of the Selinsgrove Alumni Association, that final piece of the puzzle has been placed!
We are so incredibly excited and cannot wait for our kiddos to enjoy this addition to the 1st/2nd playground once it is installed.
Most importantly, we have to give a huge shoutout and “THANK YOU” to everyone that made this possible -
The teachers, staff and students, for the encouragement and the enthusiasm to reach this goal; the care you all show towards one another is contagious! You make this place a home away from home for our kiddos!
The parents, family and friends who supported our school with their altruism; we are so grateful and could not be successful in our efforts without you!
The community at large for the compassion towards our little ones in making their experience in elementary school the best it can be!
Our alumni who truly value our district and the quality people it helps to produce; we hope our children can follow in your shoes one day!
And finally, the PTSO - not only of late, but all board members throughout our history. Without your leadership and guidance throughout the years, we would not have been put in a place where we felt confident to do this, so thank you for all that you have done for the school!

Field Day was a super fun, beautiful day!!
