Susquehanna Valley Preschool offers a 3 year old class and our 4/5 year old class. Early education is so crucial to a child's success in kindergarten. Here at Susquehanna Valley Preschool we provide our students with the skills to prepare them for kindergarten while sharing God's Word/The Good News with them and their families. Being that Susquehanna Valley Preschool a smaller preschool our staff is able to spend more one on one time with our students, providing the care and education children benefit most from. One benefit of the Susquehanna Valley Preschool program is our communication with nearby kindergarten and elementary school teachers. This communication shows students are well prepared for their kindergarten screening. Our staff is able to teach many of the skills our students will be tested on during kindergarten screenings. Our daily schedule includes hands on learning through: outside play/movement time, snack time, lesson time, craft time, story/Bible time, circle time and free play time. Our 3 year old program focuses on social skills and basic color/shape/number/name recognition skills. The 3 year old class is held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Our 4/5 year old class focuses on kindergarten readiness which includes hands on learning through: Letters/name spelling, science experiments, numbers, simple adding. This class daily schedule includes: outside play/movement time, craft time, snack time, story/Bible lesson time, lesson time and free play time.

At Susquehanna Valley Preschool we have visitors such as the fire department and a individual who provides vision screenings. Our students also take hands on field trips throughout
the year. Some of these trips include the local library and the Lewisburg Children's Museum.

Susquehanna Valley Preschool has openings for our classes.
*Our 3 year old class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This class focuses on social interaction and the basics of numbers, letter, shapes, and letters. **If a child turns 3 and is fully potty trained before December 2024 they will be eligible to enroll in our program.** Our daily class consists of free play, outside play/movement room play, circle time (days of the week, weather, songs, games and exercises), snack time, Bible lesson/book, reading time, learning time(letter, shape, number or shape) and craft time.
*Our 4/5 year old class is held on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This class helps prepare students for kindergarten. The daily schedule consists of free play, outside play/movement room, circle time(days of the week, weather, songs, games and exercises), snack time, Bible lesson/book, reading time, learning time(letters, shapes, colors or numbers), and craft time.

Our program takes field trips such as the Lewisburg Children's Museum and the Library. We have special visitors such as the fire company. We also have a visitor that does vision screenings and a visitor that does a lesson on germs. We have a photographer to take our class pictures.

Susquehanna Valley Preschool has a available openings for our 3 year old class. It runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Our three year old program focuses on social skills as well as the basics of shapes, numbers and letters. If your child is enrolled in our three year old program they we will be guaranteed enrollment in our 4/5 year old program next year. This is a great benefit as the older class fills quickly and we may not have room for your child when they turn 4/5. If your child turns 3 between September and December and is fully potty trained SVP will allow him/her to be enrolled at a "tryout" period after their third birthday(This change is new this year as now your child would not have to wait to be enrolled the next school year). If you are interested in a fun educational program for your child give us a call.
We have a few openings in our 4/5 year old program for this fall so if you are thinking about enrolling an older child please contact the office for an application( AS STATED ABOVE THE 4/5 YEAR OLD CLASS FILLS UP QUICKLY). At SVP we believe children learn best through play and hands on lessons. So many of our lessons are not "FUN" learning. Our staff looks forward to teaching your child as well as PLAY (these are both skills your child will need for kindergarten).
