At Dance Pointe, we believe that loyalty is something different than blind obedience. We believe that loyalty means doing your best to help the individuals and groups you’ve committed to be the best they can be.

Some ideas for reinforcing this way of thinking about loyalty are:
-Commit to being a loyal representative of your studio this month by acting and practicing in a way that would give an outsider a positive opinion of the program if they were watching you.

-Do something this month to strengthen a friendship. Spend extra time working, playing, or talking together.

-Show your dedication to a friend or family member this month by doing something to serve them like helping with a chore, making a sacrifice, or expressing your love for them.

Loyalty is being dedicated to a person, a group, or an idea even when it might be hard. As our leadership focus for this month, we’ll be talking about what kind of behaviors are loyal, how to inspire loyalty as a leader, and how loyalty will help each of our students achieve their long-term goals.⁠

What does loyalty mean to you? Have you seen loyalty in the actions of friends or family members? Use your studio drive time this month to share those stories with your child(ren) or reflect on how you've shown loyalty to others.
