Greetings Robert Lince Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you and your family have had a wonderful summer!
The start of a new school year is always an exciting time, and we look forward to partnering with you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and discovery. Our entire Robert Lince team is excited to welcome students back and begin another wonderful year together! Our Preschool and Kindergarten teachers will be reaching out to families next week to schedule a conference time during the week of Aug. 31.
As we prepare for the first day of school, here are a few important reminders:
Registration-
All registration forms must be completed including CNEEB forms and meal applications.
Stay Connected-
ParentSquare is our district’s primary communication platform. Your child’s teacher will be sharing more details with you during your family conference.
You will receive weekly updates from the office via ParentSquare to help keep you informed. Be sure to also follow us on Facebook for additional news and celebrations!
School Supplies-
TK & Kinder supply lists are available on the district website, at the building office, and can assist you in preparing for the school year.
Attendance Matters-
If your student needs to be absent, please contact the office to ensure the absence is excused. If you have any questions, our Administrative Assistant, Veronica Herrera, is happy to help. She can be reached at (509) 698-7906 or [email protected].
School Hours-
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:25 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:25 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
The building opens for students at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesdays. For student safety, supervision is not available before these times, so students should not arrive early.
Arrival & Dismissal-
Robert Lince has a pick-up/drop-off area and we have included the traffic flow and expectations.

Save the Date-
August 10: The Robert Lince office opens for the school year. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Main Office: (509) 698-7900
August 24-28: Teachers return to prepare classrooms. Class lists will be finalized, and you can expect to hear from your child's teacher later that week.
August 31-September 1: Family Conferences for Kindergarten and TK
August 31-September 3: Family Conferences for Preschool
September 2: Kindergarten and TK first day of classes for half of the class, please connect with your teacher on which day your student is signed up for!
September 3: Kindergarten and TK first day of classes for the other half of the class, please connect with your teacher on which day your student is signed up for!
September 4 and September 7: No School - Labor Day Weekend
September 8: First day of classes for ALL Preschool, Kindergarten & TK
September 9: 1-hour late arrival, school starts at 10:25
Drop off, Pickup, and Parking-
Before and after school, Student Loading & Unloading are extremely busy at our kindergarten and preschool campus. The first week of school and around holidays the traffic is much heavier. Typically the pool next door to our staff parking lot has plenty of room in the morning and afternoon. Students that are being picked up will be lined up in the grass next to the “No Parking - Student Loading & Unloading”. Your classroom teacher will review with you the drop-off and pick-up procedures during the conference.
