Selah School District Welcome to the Selah School District. Our District serves approximately 3,600 students in grades K-12. The Selah School District includes five campuses.

Selah Schools serve over 3,600 students and include an early learning campus, primary school, an intermediate school, a middle school, a high school, and alternative educational programs. The District has an early learning center which includes preschool and kindergarten facilities. John Campbell Primary School serve students in grades first and second, while Selah Intermediate School houses learners in grades three, four, and five. Selah Middle School serves sixth, seventh and eighth grade students while Selah High School consists of grades nine through twelve. Additionally, Selah Academy is an alternative educational campus which showcases the Big Picture Learning Program, Selah Online and Selah Homelink. The goal of the Selah School District is to provide equitable and quality educational opportunities while working in partnership with students, parents, and the community to inspire a culture of life-long learning.

Something spooktacular is happening tomorrow night at the Union Gap Corn Maze!

Hope to see you for Selah Night at the Corn Maze tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

It’s a fun way to enjoy the Halloween season while supporting the Selah Middle School Music Club.

SUPERHERO SPOTLIGHT!

October is National Principals Month, and we’re celebrating the extraordinary leaders who make a SUPER difference in our schools! Our school leaders lead classrooms, inspire teachers, champion students and make our schools amazing places to learn.

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Irina Stoica, the principal at the Robert Lince Early Learning Center. Irina’s leadership, dedication, and heart for students help make the Selah School District stronger every day.

Fall Conferences Next Week:

It’s hard to believe, but Fall Conferences are scheduled for next week. Conferences are scheduled for the week of October 26-30. During the week, students will follow an early release schedule, three hours after school begins. This includes on Wednesday, October 28. On Wednesday, October 28, there will be NO LATE START. On conference days, lunch will be served at all schools.

Learning in Action at Selah Intermediate School!

There has been learning in action and math skills in motion at Selah Intermediate School as third-grade mathematicians put their knowledge of arrays to work by showcasing what they know through hands-on activities, classroom assignments and quizzes. With plenty of student thinking, collaboration and problem-solving, they are turning math concepts into real understanding—one problem at a time!

Meanwhile, fourth-grade students put their number-line knowledge on display, demonstrating their understanding to strengthen their mathematical thinking.

From making connections to applying new skills, Selah Intermediate mathematicians are building the confidence and critical-thinking abilities that will carry them into future learning.

Learning in Action: Fall Harvest!

Selah Middle School agriculture students are rolling up their sleeves and putting their learning to work in and around the school’s greenhouse as they prepare for fall harvest. Through hands-on experiences, students are developing practical agricultural skills, strengthening problem-solving abilities and gaining a deeper understanding of the growing process. From planting to harvesting, they are discovering how classroom learning translates into real-world knowledge and skills.

It’s a great example of Learning in Action!
