¡El personal de John Campbell Primary está muy emocionado de darles la bienvenida nuevamente a nuestros increíbles Vikingos para otro año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento y diversión!

The staff at John Campbell Primary can't wait to welcome our amazing Vikings back for another year of learning, growth, and fun!

Here's what you need to know as we get ready for the first day of school:

Week of August 24
Families will receive their child's teacher assignment through ParentSquare and be able to schedule their Meet the Teacher conference day and time. Be sure to keep an eye on your notifications!

These two days are dedicated to helping our 1st and 2nd grade students and families get acquainted with their classroom and teacher. There is no school for students on these days.

🎉⚔️ ¡Celebrando a Nuestros Vikingos en su Próxima Aventura! ⚔️🎉

Hoy nuestros pasillos se llenaron de aplausos, sonrisas y orgullo vikingo mientras celebrábamos el paso de nuestros estudiantes a una nueva etapa.

Nuestros estudiantes de segundo grado se alinearon en los pasillos para felicitar y animar a los estudiantes de primer grado que el próximo año serán parte de segundo grado. Después, llegó el momento de celebrar a nuestros propios estudiantes de segundo grado mientras realizaban su último recorrido por la escuela antes de comenzar sus nuevas aventuras en Selah Intermediate School.

Fue un momento muy especial, lleno de alegría, emoción y palabras de aliento. Estamos muy orgullosos de todo el crecimiento, esfuerzo y logros que nuestros Vikingos han demostrado este año.

A nuestros estudiantes de primer grado: ¡Estamos emocionados de ver todo lo que lograrán en segundo grado!
A nuestros estudiantes de segundo grado: Gracias por dejar una huella especial en nuestra escuela. ¡Sabemos que harán cosas increíbles en SIS!

🎉⚔️ Celebrating Our Vikings on the Move! ⚔️🎉

Today, our hallways were filled with cheers, smiles, and Viking pride as our students celebrated moving up to their next big adventure!

Our second graders lined the halls to cheer on and congratulate our first graders as they prepare to become second graders next year. Then, it was time for us to celebrate our own second graders as they took their final walk through the building before heading off to new adventures at Selah Intermediate School!

It was a special moment filled with encouragement, excitement, and a few emotional goodbyes. We are so proud of all of our Vikings and the growth they have shown this year.

To our first graders—we can't wait to see you shine in second grade!
To our second graders—thank you for leaving your mark on our school. We know you'll do amazing things at SIS!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉 ¡CELEBRACIÓN DEL CLUB DE MILLAS! 🎉🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

¡Qué temporada tan increíble para nuestro Club de Millas! Nuestros estudiantes corrieron un total combinado de 3,675 millas este año, un logro impresionante que demuestra su dedicación, perseverancia y compromiso con mantenerse activos y saludables.

Nos emocionó reconocer a nuestros corredores con premios especiales:
🏅 25 Millas – Camiseta del Club de Millas
🏅 40 Millas – Shorts del Club de Millas
🏅 Los 25 Mejores Corredores de la Escuela – Medalla de Reconocimiento Especial

Y para hacerlo aún más emocionante, las clases que acumularon la mayor cantidad de millas disfrutaron de una merecida Fiesta de Flotantes de Root Beer. 🍦🥤

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉 MILEAGE CLUB CELEBRATION! 🎉🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

What an incredible Mileage Club season! Our students ran a combined total of 3,675 miles this year—an amazing accomplishment that reflects their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to staying active and healthy!

We were excited to celebrate our runners with special awards:
🏅 25 Miles – Mileage Club T-Shirt
🏅 40 Miles – Mileage Club Shorts
🏅 Top 25 Runners in the Building – Special Medal Recognition

To top it all off, the classes with the highest total mileage earned a well-deserved Root Beer Float Party! 🍦🥤

🍦🎉 ¡UNA DULCE AVENTURA PARA SEGUNDO GRADO! 🎉🍦

¡Nuestros estudiantes de segundo grado disfrutaron de una maravillosa caminata a King’s Scoop para disfrutar de un delicioso helado! Las sonrisas, la emoción y los lindos recuerdos hicieron de esta salida una experiencia muy especial para nuestros estudiantes.

Un enorme ¡GRACIAS! a nuestro increíble Selah Vikings PTO por financiar generosamente esta divertida y deliciosa excursión. Su continuo apoyo ayuda a brindar experiencias significativas y recuerdos inolvidables para nuestros estudiantes dentro y fuera del salón de clases.

Our second graders had a wonderful time taking a special walk to King’s Scoop for a delicious treat! The smiles, excitement, and sweet memories made this field trip a favorite for many of our students.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Selah Vikings PTO for generously funding this awesome experience. Your continued support helps create meaningful opportunities and memorable moments for our students both inside and outside the classroom.

☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ ¡DIVERSIÓN EN EL DÍA DE CAMPO! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️☀️

¡Qué día tan increíble lleno de trabajo en equipo, compañerismo, risas y mucha diversión durante nuestro Día de Campo anual! Nuestros Vikingos disfrutaron participando en una variedad de actividades emocionantes, animando a sus compañeros y creando recuerdos que durarán toda la vida.

Un enorme GRACIAS a nuestros increíbles maestros de Educación Física, Mr. Russell y Mrs. Richardson, por coordinar, organizar y llevar a cabo otro excelente Día de Campo. Su dedicación, esfuerzo y planificación hicieron posible que este evento fuera todo un éxito para nuestros estudiantes y personal.

También queremos agradecer a los voluntarios y miembros del personal que ayudaron durante todo el día. Eventos como este solo son posibles gracias al apoyo de nuestra maravillosa comunidad escolar.

What an amazing day of teamwork, sportsmanship, laughter, and fun at our annual Field Day! Our Vikings had a blast participating in a variety of exciting activities, cheering on their classmates, and making lasting memories.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible P.E. teachers, Mr. Russell and Mrs. Richardson, for coordinating, organizing, and facilitating another outstanding Field Day. Your hard work, planning, and dedication helped make the day a tremendous success for our students and staff.

We also want to thank our volunteers and staff members who helped throughout the day. Events like these are only possible because of the support of our amazing school community.

Great job, Vikings! We hope everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed celebrating the end of another wonderful school year! 🎉💙💛

🎉 ¡Estrellas de la Asistencia! 🎉

¡Buen trabajo, Vikings! Estamos orgullosos de celebrar el compromiso de nuestros estudiantes de asistir a la escuela y dar lo mejor de sí cada día.

⭐ ¡9 estudiantes lograron ASISTENCIA PERFECTA durante este año escolar y estuvieron presentes todos los días! ¡Qué logro tan increíble!

👏 También reconocimos a más de 300 estudiantes con premios de asistencia por Asistencia Excelente, Buena Asistencia y Mayor Mejoría en Asistencia. Su dedicación, crecimiento y perseverancia no pasaron desapercibidos.

Gracias a nuestros estudiantes y familias por hacer de la asistencia una prioridad. ¡Cada día en la escuela es una oportunidad para aprender, crecer y tener éxito!
