Navarro ISD currently maintains a 60% student ridership rate, exceeding the 40% average for most school districts. The 2026 Bond proposes the purchase of additional buses and a secured parking expansion designed to accommodate a fleet of up to 50 buses. These upgrades support long-term operations as enrollment increases and the district opens Navarro South Elementary School in August 2027.

Additionally, the relocation of the bus parking lot would increase parking capacity for district employees providing additional space for junior high staff and visitors.

April 15th is Purple Up! For Military Kids Day, a special day within the Month of the Military Child (April) to honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military children. People show support by wearing purple to represent all branches of the military—Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Space Force.

All year long, he showed patience, determination, and serious self-control 💪
He had his eye on one goal… the most expensive item in the class store. Day by day, he saved every dollar he earned—and he reached an incredible 1,000 class dollars! Today, it paid off!
We are so proud of this kind of perseverance! 🌟 It was the perfect way to wrap up our personal financial literacy unit.

🏀IXL MARCH MADNESS UPDATE🏀
