Dear Seguin ISD families,

Per Texas House Bill 1481, Seguin ISD has designated that students must have their personal communication devices (cell phones, personal laptops, and other non-school-issued devices) turned off and in their backpacks for the entire school day. District policy does make limited exceptions. Students found in violation of the policy will face consequences, including but not limited to detention and fines.

Seguin ISD’s personal communication device policy will be effective on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

We are almost ready to welcome you all back!

Please take a look at the arrival and dismissal maps- we have included the map shared by our neighbor, Barnes Middle School.

Please be aware the streets behind Koennecke and between Koennecke and Barnes will be closed to traffic at arrival and dismissal.

Parents dropping kids off at both Koennecke and Barnes will need to use the Barnes line.

The gate to Barnes will be open for arrival from 7:30-8:00am for walkers coming to school.
