Our Starlettes performed their halftime routine alongside a teacher of their choice, and our teachers did a wonderful job showing off their moves! It was great to see our students and teachers come together, have fun, and show their Toro spirit!

Way to go, Starlettes and teachers!

What happens when you mix percent practice with 7th grade math? Real world application! 🌎
Ms. Martinez's students put their math prowess to work with an engaging, hands on game of Race to the register. They applied their knowledge of percent proportions to find discounts 🏷️, calculate savings, and determine the sale 💵price while working through a 🛒 shopping themed board game with challenge cards that incorporate examples from popular stores.

Students also made sure to show their work, explain their thinking, and make mathematical decisions 🧠. Our 7th grade math students are ready to find the best deal.
