🚒💙 Koennecke Matadors learned about safety and kindness!

Our kindergarten–3rd grade students learned about fire safety during Fire Prevention Day! 🧯

Our Matadors also wore BLUE to stand together against bullying and show their support for a kind, welcoming school where everyone felt included!

🌧️ The rain put a damper on attendance today! Koennecke’s daily attendance was 92.17%, and our weekly total was 94.67%—below our 97% goal.

Shout-out to 1st grade for reaching 97.37% today! 👏🐝

We know rainy mornings can be challenging, and we appreciate our families making sure students arrive safely. Let’s start next week strong—every day at school counts! 🖤💛

🏛️ Learning came to life for our 2nd graders at Koennecke! They celebrated their study of Ancient Greece and its contributions by tasting olives, olive oil, and grape juice, then competing in a mini Olympics! 🫒🍇🏅

What a fun way to wrap up their learning! 🖤💛
