Ignite the Fire ITF Ministries and the ITF School of Ministry provides sound Biblical teaching and education. IGNITE THE FIRE IS COMPRISED OF THREE PILLARS

1.

Discipleship Training - We concentrate on Biblical centered studies for training and equipping the Believer. Discipleship is essential for not only church growth, but the expansion of the Kingdom of God. ITF developed an in-house discipleship program called - Becoming a Disciple of Jesus. This is a 12-month Bible intensive program.

2. Evangelistic Outreach - We spend a great deal of time traveling the country and other countries delivering the Word of God. Raising up the body of believers to reach their full potential for the glory of God the Father. We focus on speaking LIFE and FIRE into the hearts and minds of believers.

3. Training Leaders - Through sound Biblical teaching we help those who want to lead or are already leading to become fire starters. We help with all aspects of leading and body of believers from discipleship material to use for teaching, sermon writing, public speaking techniques, leading youth, etc. Ignite the Fire Ministries/ITF School of Ministry operates an affiliate campus for the Texas University of Theology in New Braunfels TX.

“ADONAI ROARS FROM ZION!” — Amos 1:2

Amos stands up and begins declaring the judgment of Adonai—but watch the movement.

⚔️ DAMASCUS!
You crushed Gilead with brutality. JUDGMENT IS COMING!

🔥 GAZA!
You carried entire communities into captivity and sold them to Edom. JUDGMENT IS COMING!

⚔️ TYRE!
You betrayed the covenant of brotherhood and delivered captives to Edom. JUDGMENT IS COMING!

🔥 EDOM!
You pursued your own brother with the sword, rejected compassion, and refused to let go of your anger. JUDGMENT IS COMING!

⚔️ AMMON!
You committed horrific violence against Gilead because you wanted to enlarge your territory. JUDGMENT IS COMING!

Can you see what Amos is doing?

Damascus → Gaza → Tyre → Edom → Ammon

🔥 THE CIRCLE IS CLOSING! 🔥

Israel is standing in the middle listening as Amos pronounces judgment on everybody around them.

They could have shouted:

“PREACH, AMOS!”
“JUDGE THEM, ADONAI!”

But Amos wasn’t finished.

Chapter 2 continues:

MOAB…

Then suddenly—

JUDAH…

And then Amos turns directly toward—

🔥🔥 ISRAEL! 🔥🔥

The people who had been listening to everybody else’s judgment suddenly discovered:

THE WORD WAS COMING FOR THEM TOO!

That is the POWER of Amos.

It is easy to recognize rebellion in somebody else.

It is easy to see what another nation is doing wrong.

It is easy to shout “Amen!” when the Word is confronting somebody else’s sin.

But what happens when ADONAI TURNS THE WORD TOWARD US?

🔥 THE CIRCLE IS CLOSING. 🔥

Being God’s people did not make Israel EXEMPT from accountability.

It made them MORE ACCOUNTABLE because they had received His covenant, His Torah, His prophets, and His revelation.

Before we use the Word of God to examine everybody around us, we had better allow the Word of God to examine US.

Because Amos begins with the nations…

BUT HE DOESN’T STOP UNTIL HE GETS HOME.
