Spring Training ✔️
The guard worked on establishing technique foundations for Flag, Rifle, Sabre & Movement. Next camp is Parade Camp June 29-July 3 to continue technique and get ready for our first public performance: The 4th of July Parade🇺🇸

Congratulations to Matador Colorguard captain, Tessa Pullin! Today she received her Associate of Arts from St. Philip’s College. She participated in the Seguin HS Early College HS program and was able to stay involved in Fine Arts. Tessa will walk the stage tomorrow at Matador Stadium to receive her HS diploma as a top 10% student in her class. ⚔️

Congratulations to Matador Colorguard alumni, Briana Flores! ⚔️

Briana Flores, Matador class of 2020 graduated from University of Texas San Antonio in 2023 with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. This time, Briana is graduating UTSA with a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a bilingual counseling certificate. She is currently in the process of licensure to become an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate and provide therapeutic services in English and Spanish.

Don't miss out on the final colorguard performances of the season. The Seguin ISD Colorguard Showcase is Monday, May 11 at 6pm in the Seguin High School Wellness Center Gym. These performances are solos and ensembles choreographed and designed by the students of both the Matador Guard and Jim Barnes Middle School Guard. See who earns a "Top Banana" and who wins the "G.O.A.T." trophy. Free admission.
