Miss Bailey Jo graduated out of her snaffle this week 🥳 Once c**ts start getting the full understanding of their motions, softness, flexions, and halt they move up. After a snaffle bit, I normally graduate c**ts up to a small shank bit for easy transition (junior cow horse, low port, Argentina, etc). This is all part of their next steps of neck reining.

“DOC” 4-Year-Old AQHA Gelding — Barrel Prospect
Here’s a 4-year-old 15.2 hands AQHA gelding with a lot of potential for someone looking for their next barrel prospect. He has been started lightly on the barrels, exhibitioned, and hauled, giving him a solid foundation to continue building on.
✨ Excellent ground manners
✨ Stands well for the farrier
✨ Loads and hauls
✨ Stands hobbled
✨ No buck or bite
✨ Fast with plenty of go
✨ Lightly started on barrels and ready to be finished
He is NOT a beginner horse and will need a confident, experienced rider who understands a young, athletic horse with speed and energy.
He has a great work ethic and is ready for someone to take him to the next level and finish him their way. With the right rider and continued training, he has the potential to make a nice barrel horse.
