Just one. Anyone
Thanks!
A good way to encourage intentional gratitude among your children is to keep a gratitude journal. Dr. Emmons’ research has shown that sitting down and thinking out specific things to be grateful for leads to the greatest benefits. Encourage your children to take a notebook and write three things they are grateful for every day during the week of Thanksgiving. Once the holiday is over, keep the tradition going!

Some holidays deserve more than one day of reverence. Thank you to the JBMS employees who served

The lifeline and 988- Important update.
988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline
988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline), and is now active across the United States. When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.

ATTENTION REMOTE LEARNERS...In an effort to engage with, and support our remote learners, Communities in Schools at JBMS will be starting a weekly virtual group. The purpose of this group is to provide a twice weekly virtual check-in and check-out to aid remote learners in setting weekly academic and attendance goals, identify and find solutions for academic challenges, and allow them an opportunity to check in with our CIS Site Coordinator and other virtual students.
We understand that virtual learning can be a lot to take on for families and we are here to help. In order to participate in this group each student will be required to have either a signed Communities in School Consent form on file OR an email from a parent/guardian stating that you are giving your consent for your student to receive services from Communities in Schools.
