We're in year two of rebuilding our tackle football program and WE NEED YOU! Never played before? No problem. Curious about football? Come meet the team and see what it's all about.

We have an incredible group of hardworking students who are having a blast and building something special together — but we need more students to join them.

Our coaches care deeply about every student-athlete, both on the field and off. Here's your chance to meet them, ask questions, learn about the program and say thank you for the time and heart they pour into our kids.

We're not just building a football team. We're building character, school spirit, tradition and community. And you're invited to be a part of what we are creating!

🦂 GO SCORPIONS!

“Our offensive line looks like it could be fantastic. We have really good running backs and receivers, and our quarterback position is still up for grabs.” - Coach Hauserman

Our Scorpion athletes are working hard, and we couldn’t be more proud.

SOCUSD brought football back to Sedona Red Rock because we believe our students deserve as comprehensive a high school experience as possible. We may be small in numbers, and with that brings great challenges, but we’re proving that passion, commitment, and heart can accomplish big things.

Come out and support these young men under the Friday Night Lights this fall. They are representing our school and community with pride.

GO SCORPIONS!

… and thanks, as always, to RRN for the coverage.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year.

At Sedona Red Rock Middle School and High School, we believe great schools are built on a simple but powerful foundation. Students thrive when they are known, challenged, supported, and connected. As a small school, we have the unique ability to truly know our students as individuals. Our teachers, coaches, advisors, and support staff care deeply about every student who walks through our doors and are committed to helping them discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and achieve their goals.

While we may be a small school, we are proud to offer experiences often found only in much larger schools. Students have access to numerous Advanced Placement courses, theater, ceramics, art, photography, robotics, debate, mock trial and law, leadership programs, athletics, clubs, and a wide variety of extracurricular activities. Students also participate in meaningful learning experiences beyond our campus, including a Leadership Academy at Disneyland in Southern California, a Senior Trip to Washington, D.C., and other enriching field experiences throughout the year.

One exciting new feature of our middle school program is our sixth-grade team model, which is designed to provide students with a smoother transition from elementary school to middle school. Rather than rotating through multiple teachers, sixth-grade students learn from just two core teachers - one specializing in mathematics and science and the other in English language arts and social studies. This structure allows teachers to know their students exceptionally well, fosters stronger relationships, improves communication with families, and provides greater consistency and support during this important transition year.

Everything we do is guided by a singular purpose. We strive to maximize student outcomes and student experiences. We want our students to graduate not only academically prepared, but also equipped with the critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world. We encourage students to think deeply, work hard, embrace new challenges, and reach their full potential.

Just as importantly, we are committed to ensuring that no student pursues those dreams alone. Our staff works tirelessly to provide the encouragement, guidance, and support students need along the way. Whether a student requires additional academic support, advanced coursework, social and emotional guidance, or specialized services, we are committed to meeting students where they are and helping them grow.

And it is not just about what happens during the day within the walls of our classrooms. Our goal is for Sedona Red Rock to serve as the community hub for our middle school and high school students. We want our campus to be a place filled with pride, energy, connection, and possibility. We encourage students to stay after school, join a club, participate in activities, attend performances, compete on athletic teams, support their classmates from the stands, and become fully engaged members of our school community. Some of the most meaningful memories and lasting friendships are formed through these experiences. Our diverse and inclusive student body is one of our greatest strengths, and we are proud to be a school where students learn from one another, support one another, and grow together.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are honored to serve the students and families of Sedona Red Rock Middle School and High School. We look forward to an outstanding school year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.

Go Scorpions!
