Tonight our culinary students executed their first dinner service for the folks that attended our Fall Pies class. On the menu was a zucchini frittata, roast pork tenderloin with an orange gastric and snow peas and chocolate mouse. Very proud of our students handled the pressure in the kitchen and worked as a team!

Last week we hosted a private Persian class for the Yavapai College OLLI program. Our guests enjoyed listening to author Pardis Mahdavai share her grandmother’s story of using Persian horses to fight the war on terrorism. Chef Carl Miller and his team prepared an amazing Persian menu to provide a cultural culinary learning experience. Such an enjoyable experience for all involved!
It was also our teammate, Rick’s last day with us. We are so grateful for his dedication and support over the past year! While we are sad to see him go, we are thrilled to see him join the YC Viticulture and Enology Program. Best wishes Rick!
