If you missed us last night we surely missed you! However, we would like to introduce the NES staff for the 2026-2027 school year. The future is bright for NES and it is a great day to be a Cougar!!

***Also we were having so much fun meeting all of our new families and seeing our exisiting families that we did not take many pictures of open house. If you took any pictures at open house could you please drop them in the comments.

While Dr. Kea was away for alittle today, the staff elves came out to play. They invaded Dr. Kea’s office and left him a welcome gift with many different necessities!!!

**TIME CHANGE** The time for tomorrow's Back to School Bash is being changed from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM to 12:00 PM-2:00 PM due to the possibility of scattered thunderstorms.

We welcomed members of some of our local churches to the community prayer breakfast this morning. Deputy Hedgepeth prayed over both the teachers and the administration. This is the second year of this event and it has helped bring the community and school together.

We had another one of community partners, Millfield Baptist Church, donate much needed school supplies! We appreciate this continued partnership!

One of our community partners, the Ivor Masonic Lodge #291, was gracious enough to donate school supplies to help our students in need. Without our community partners we would not be able to assist our students the way that we do.
