Oasis Learning Center OLC is a non-profit that provides services to children with disabilities & their families!

OLC is located in Southampton County, a rural county with minimal resources for children with disabilities and their families. OLC is an all inclusive non-profit with goals of not only providing services to children with disabilities and their families but also to the local communities by providing guidance, support, and training around inclusiveness for all and what that would look like for their business. OLC’s mission is to provide services and assistance for people with disabilities and their families who, because of the rural location, would not have access to these services otherwise. OLC strives to provide support, services, and events that will enhance the lives of people with disabilities and their families!

VBPD’s educational workshop series is back! This is a series of free, virtual training opportunities that are open to the public.

Join us on Friday, Oct. 23 from 12 to 2 p.m. for a presentation from Virginia Department of Education - VDOE about their special education family engagement team. You will learn how the Virginia Department of Education provides direct support to families of children with disabilities, helps school divisions better engage families through the provision of professional development, and so much more!
