Hello 59er’s -
For our regular monthly luncheon in May, we will meet at El Tapatio Mexican restaurant in Sedalia, located at 3000 South Limit Ave at noon on Thursday, May 11th. We usually have a pretty good crowd there and we haven’t been there for quite a while and it’ll be warm enough for margarita time and all those tasty tacos. Looking forward to seeing a large group there. Just for info, our luncheons for June and July will be up in the Warrensburg area. Hopefully this will accommodate some of our classmates from Warrensburg and the Kansas City area who can’t make it to Sedalia to join us for our luncheon. We miss you all and hope to see you in the months ahead.

Our July luncheon will be held at Bandana's BBQ in Sedalia, Thursday, July 14th at 12 noon. I'll try to reserve the private room allowing a larger group to gather. Hope to see a large group there.
Bring a bib and many hand wipes for those ordering BBQ.😂

59er’s - our luncheon for May will be at Traditions restaurant at the UCM golf course in Pertle Springs which is in Warrensburg Missouri. They always have great food and we will once again hopefully be able to sit outside on the terrace overlooking the 18th green. So the date will be May 12, 2022. That’s the second Thursday in the month of May. So mark it on your calendars and on your cell phones and let’s have a great turn out. Now, for those of you who are unable to attend for one reason or another we would love to hear from you and get an update on what’s going on in your life. Just reply to this email and we’ll make sure everyone that comes to our luncheon is informed about you and your family. We understand there are those of you who live in far off places like Alaska, Florida, North and South Carolina, Illinois, California, Arizona, Kansas and many other places throughout the United States can’t attend our monthly get togethers. But for many of you we have not been able to hear from you or see you since our last reunion and we’d certainly like to hear what’s going on and get an update. Hopefully this finds everyone in good health and good spirits now as it’s starting to warm up a little bit so let’s get out and celebrate spring time and enjoy a great meal at Traditions restaurant.

Our next luncheon will be Thursday, April 14th. We will meet at the Asian Buffet in Sedalia at 12 noon. And just for your information they have more than just Asian food there. It’s strictly a buffet but they have a very wide selection of good food. Hope to see a few of you there!

Due to the forecasted weather for Thursday that includes freezing weather and snow which could cause slick roads throughout the area, our luncheon for March is cancelled. It's much better to be safe than sorry, so lets hope April brings us some spring like weather. Please pass this on to other classmates on your phones to ensure everyone gets the information. Good morning 59er’s - Well, it’s that time again. For our little outing this month we will have our luncheon at the Asian buffet in Sedalia Missouri on Thursday, the 10th of March.The address is 3406 W. Broadway. Thought we might just try something a little different this time. We ate there once before but it’s been several years ago but everyone seemed to like it. They have a good selection of not just Asian Food but American food and a great dessert bar. So come on out and chill down with the class. Hope to see you all next Thursday.

OK 59er’s, I know it’s been very cold lately and we’ve had a lot of snow. But, our luncheon for February will be next Thursday, February 10th. And according to our weather guessers by that time hopefully the snow will have all melted and we will be back to normal crappy weather for this time of the year. It looks to be in the mid 40s, so we will have lunch at Colton‘s steakhouse in SEDALIA at noon on 10 February. So come on out and celebrate with us by getting out of the house for the first time in a couple of weeks and enjoy the great food that Colton’s can serve up. Remember folks 12 noon, February 10th. Hope to see you there enjoying the start of this new year.

Hope everyone survived the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Figuring that most of you didn’t have enough to eat, we will have our January luncheon at Little big Horn in Sedalia Missouri. Figured it was about time for a little barbecue! So, hope to see a good crowd Thursday, at noon on January 13th at Little Big Horn. Let’s start the new year off with a little toast for 2022 and saying goodbye to 2021. See you all on the 13th!

Hello 59er’s - our luncheon for November will be at the Golden Corral in SEDALIA at noon on November 11. Once again that is the second Thursday of the month. It also coincides with Veterans Day. So all of you veterans wear something appropriate to show the service in which you served. We will have the private room in the back and I’ll call and set up a reservation for it. So get your buns off the couch and come and enjoy a good buffet with friends and lots of good conversation. Hope to see a lot of you there.

59er’s - our October luncheon will be on October 14 which is the second Thursday in October. We shall gather at the Rib Crib in Warrensburg Missouri at noon. This has been a very popular place in the past so hope we have a good turn out. Hope to see a lot of folks!
