The NICC Athletics Golf Tournament in Peosta is on Aug. 26, and there's PLENTY of time to enter a team!

The money raised from last year's tournaments helped us offer athletic scholarships to several new student-athletes, two of whom were named to Conference All-Region Teams. All of your support matters!

The Cougar baseball team recently received the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association. This honor recognizes schools from all college levels and high schools nationwide yearly.

"This award exemplifies the hard work our team puts in all year to ensure they are achieving at the highest level possible in the classroom," Coach Conner Klostermann said.

Keeping Cougar athletes healthy is an essential part to success on the field, and that's where Athletic Trainer Maria Klein steps in!

You may have seen her behind the dugouts at baseball and softball games, or run on the field when there's an injury, but she's the one who helps keep the athletes on the field and competing.

A brand new offering for students to get involved with NICC Athletics this fall is The Clawprint - a 100% student-written publication!

The Clawprint will publish a new edition biweekly on NICCAthletics.com and will consist of feature stories on Cougar Athletes, updates on teams in season, stories about department events and more.

Recruiting is just getting started, so if you're an incoming NICC student and want to get involved, please contact Sports Information Director Luke Maiers ([email protected]) to learn more!

Kids on Campus is taking place this week at the Peosta Campus!

Loads of kids will be here all week, and our esports team is getting involved by hosting a few camps of their own. Student-athletes are working on Legos, playing videogames and more with all of those attending.

What a transition the Cougar Athletics Center (CAC) has gone through over the last year.

Last July, everything was just starting to be installed. The weight room and turfed area were still a blank slate, but not anymore!

It's a great home for Cougar Athletics!

NICC Athletics is only one year in, and already 4 (!!!) student-athletes from this past year have transferred onto four year programs!
