Smith-Cotton Junior High celebrated their 8th graders tonight at their last home game of the season against K**b Noster!

A team won in 3
18-25, 25-20, 15-13

Lydia Cox 3 aces

Coach Simons โ€œThe team really came together tonight for the win. They dug deep and persevered! Layla Bautista moved the ball to our hitters. Ellie Burris and Jensen Kindle pressed the net to block and attack. Karlie Chambers, Lydia Cox, Sarabeth Mclendon, and Seren Smith played defense and attacked from left and right side. Hallie Peck, Alex Lowman, and Brooklyn Utz defended the back row on serve receive and defense! It was a great match for our last home game of the season and our 8th grade celebration!โ€

B team won in two
25-9, 25-12

Coach Daniel: โ€œB team had a great 8th grade night. They came out swinging. We had some great serves and hits tonight. Great team work and communication.โ€
