Please help us congratulate Derek Grubb on winning the 300 meter hurdles in MO State Class 5. 🏆 🎉🙌 He also placed 2nd in the 110 meter hurdles & set a new school record.🥇🏆 😁 We are so proud of you DEREK!!! Today JAG brought The Girls Next Door - Sedalia food truck to Smith-Cotton High School. Teachers, staff, & Seniors were all treated to a delicious drink & tasty cookie! It was a great way for the students to show appreciation on their last day of school. 🖤💛 JAG-Missouri Sedalia School District 200

Where are they now?? Follow Up on the SC JAG Class of 2022 (33 students):
20 - employed full time
9 - continuing their education, 8 are also working
1 - Enlisted in Navy
1 - Awaiting enlistment date for Navy
1 - Recently wed, moving to Chicago, & will find new job asap

What does this mean? 91% positive outcome rate for those in JAG!! In addition, this means the SC Class of 2022 will be recognized for earning the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) National '6 of 6 Award' for meeting all of the Performance Outcome Standards.

Smith-Cotton Track and Field senior Derek Grubb broke his own school record in the 110-meter hurdles (14.4 seconds) during Wednesday's Smith-Cotton Open track meet.

Today in class we prepared side dishes for the Smith-Cotton High School Activjty Banquet. Everyone pitched in and helped prep, cook, and clean. We made deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, pasta salad, frito corn salad, tater tot casserole, fruit dip, rotel dip, & creamy corn. Each dish was great! Unfortunately we didn’t take any pics besides the plate of food from the banquet.

On Tuesday we celebrated the year with a trip to Sky Zone Columbia, MO. Having the place to ourselves allowed these “big kids” to have a lot of fun!

Just wrapped up the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) National Confernde in Orlando. Jacalyn represented us well and competed in the Financial Literacy event. We are very proud of her and all of our JAG-Missouri teammates!
